絵のタイトルを考えるとき
タイミングよく思いつくこともあれば、
事前に頭に浮かんだ言葉をノートに書き溜めておいて
そのノートからしっくりくる言葉を選び取ったりします。
なので、いつも言葉を考えています。
つい最近だと、Olivia Rodrigoの「drivers license」を聴きながら
歌っている彼女自身のことを考えてると
「I'm pretty but I don't wanna be a pretty girl.」
という言葉が浮かんできました。
勝手な想像ですが、
自分がありたい姿ではない姿で
曲を歌わざるを得なかったり
アルバムのコンセプトを決めないといけなかったり
着たくない衣装を着せられたり・・・
きっとそういうことってたくさんあるだろうな、
と思っていたら出てきた言葉です。
いつか絵のタイトルにしよう。
そんな感じで、日々、思いもよらないところから
言葉が派生したりします。
楽しいです。
When thinking about the title of the picture, sometimes I can think of it at the right time, and sometimes I just write down the words that come to my mind in advance in a notebook. I choose words that fit well from the notebook. So I'm always thinking about words.
Most recently, while listening to Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license", thinking about her singing, the word came to me as, "I'm pretty but I don't wanna be a pretty girl." It's a selfish imagination though, In a way that artists don't want to be, they have to sing a song, they have to decide the concept of the album,
or they should put on costumes they don't want to wear ... I'm sure there are many such things. it is a word that came out when I thought. I'll make it the title of the picture someday.
Like that, every day from an unexpected place, words are derived. It's fun.
